Thank you all for your nice welcome . My Bresse are white , black and grey. I guess they are not purebred then, which is fine for me: I like them anyhow

Not sure if you have seen it, but there is a breed thread for them, mostly talking about them as meat birds https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/173461/bresse-chickens/1420 they do come in blue/gray in some places (so would have white/splash, blue/gray and black).

You're welcome. Actually Bresse come in four accepted standard colors, white black, grey, and blue, so you may well have purebred Bresse. I only mentioned the white in my post because all the photos of the ones I've seen were white.
