Thank the LORD! It’s ALLLL DONE!! FINALIY!! After several cussing fits, hurt knees, bumped head, scratches from loosing a wrestling match with hardware cloth and being soaked from swear at the end of the day for the last couple of weeks it’s DONE!!! Safe and secure for the chicks! I’m taking a break from building ANYTHING for a little bit! But it was fun!!

It looks GREAT!

Mighty fine!
When you get to looking after it rains, see how wet the ground gets along the edge. You can add more tin on the roof to make an over hang of 12-18". It will be worth it in the long run. LOL or any covered run.
Other than that that it looks secure, Functional and chicken friendly.
You have done a great job.

It looks AMAZING! What are the dimensions? How many chooks do you have? I admire your building ability, I could never make anything half that good.

Thanks!! It’s been an experience that’s for sure! The coop is 6x4. It’s a converted playhouse I built for the girls several years ago that they have since outgrown. The run itself is 12x12. I have 6 chickens. :)
