It’s like she’s an old lady who needs a Poise pad!

I have a two year old EE who leaks clear fluid from her vent whenever she bends her body around to clean her tail area. She’s done this since she first started laying eggs (and her eggs have been extra larges since she laid her first!). She’s otherwise healthy, chatty, affectionate, and seems happy. She eats and drinks normally, dustbathes with the best of them and is always first out the door in the morning. She just leaks. Any idea what’s going on?

Just looked at the liquid under the scope. There are a few cells, which look normal, no worms, no coccidia, no parasites.

I also have a 2 yr old EE who does this exact same thing. Mine also lost all her neck feathers 4 months ago. I thought it was just a molt, but it's gone on too long for that. She is also looking lean. Its nearly 100 degrees here. She free ranges with the rest of the flock. She has laid a couple eggs recently. Any insights much appreciated. I wondered if she might have the y shaped worms that lodge in the neck, and maybe the loss of feathers is from scratching at her own neck?

Maybe start a new thread and post a lot pics. My girl seems to be doing fine. Everyone is molting at least a little bit right now and it is scorching hot. But so far, everyone is eating and drinking normally, no weight loss or other problems, just hot. She doesn’t “leak” every day, so I’m wondering if it’s just because she is drinking more water than usual...
