I too am jealous of your 40 acre farm. I would love to find a small farm (at least 10 acres) as we only have 6.5 acres and it is mostly wooded not the greatest for gardening and critters.
 
HELLO! I'm also a newcomer and I just have to say, it sounds like you have the farm I strive to have someday! I would LOVE to be able to have that many chickens!! HAHA! Sounds like you're going to have a BLAST!!
