they will be able to free range but only when supervised because my neighbor is irresponsible and has hound dogs that run wild through the neighborhood.

So on days when I have to work, they will be confined to the run.

I hope you are locating that shed in the shade. It will be like an oven in the Alabama summer sun. Not meaning to discourage you, just be sure to cut lots of ventilation holes near the top.

We are going to plant a tree on the corner and some shrubbery along where the run is going to be.

We're going to cut a lot of ventilation into it and build their run behind our second shed that you see in the picture.

well.. we do kinda need rain cause it's been about 4 weeks since we had a really good one. But why does it have to rain on my off days!?!??! those are the only days I get to work on my coop
