I hearya on the change of heart...my DH who absolutely HATES my birds...actually gave me something to give to Obelisk to eat...You coulda knocked me over with a feather!

Some of the kids that DS knows come by to see Obelisk more than they do him.LOL

Been there, done that. My dogs killed an entire fock while my back was turned.
I am now using aversion therapy on the dogs. Don't ask what that entails.... drastic measures are called for.

:aww I'm sorry the Fourth was so rough for you, but I am very glad she is okay!

It's times like this that make me very very glad our dog is a bigger chicken than the chickens. She can be really timid and the chickens kinda scare her, especially since the Roo will peck her on the butt. You wanna hear the really depressing part, she is supposed to be a bird dog!
