It finally happened today the girls gave me....

14 eggs. I have been waiting for a dozen in one day. For three days in a row I had 11, yesterday I had 8 and today I had 11 and only one of them is a small one. The rest are all good sized eggs. I am soo proud of my girls. So I went through the flock and I have at least 14-16 who are not laying yet. Can't wait for the day I get 24.

It is very eggciting. I am able to sell them for $4 bucks a dozen, so maybe someday they will be able to start paying off their initial investment of the coop and run materials.
