Awesome! To answer your question, yes, new layers can lay twice in a day. One of mine did that, though her second one was always soft-shelled or shell-less so if you got an extra with an actual shell, great!

They could manage a spreadsheet im sure, they are 7 and 8. They do math and phonics online but other than that we try to limit screen time. I even got an encyclopedia set to keep them offline and off screens as much as possible at this age lol
