Not great for chicken introductions, but nice for keeper being head high, easy to monitor chicks and or broody.The box is a loft..it is currently being used by the broody..she was in there for first few days after the chicks hatched and she sleeps in there with them until she decides the coop is better. Ultimately I'm hoping it will be used as extra space for them to hangout in in the winter.[IMG]

They may want to roost in there.Sorry I meant that it's only for going to be used as they wish, by anyone as it will be left open, once mama moves the babies to the coop/roosts. But yeah it worked awesome for the the broody and chicks, I just let them out when mama indicated she was ready.
Oh wow I'm surprised they made it back up the ramps that's great!Yes so far that it where they have been sleeping. They can roost there if they choose but I think and hope that when mama is done raising them, they will return to the coop.
