It has been 2 months and the two flocks are not integrated, any advice?

The box is a loft..it is currently being used by the broody..she was in there for first few days after the chicks hatched and she sleeps in there with them until she decides the coop is better. Ultimately I'm hoping it will be used as extra space for them to hangout in in the winter.[IMG]

Not great for chicken introductions, but nice for keeper being head high, easy to monitor chicks and or broody.

Sorry I meant that it's only for going to be used as they wish, by anyone as it will be left open, once mama moves the babies to the coop/roosts. But yeah it worked awesome for the the broody and chicks, I just let them out when mama indicated she was ready.

They may want to roost in there.
Did mama and chicks go back up there to spend the night?

Yes so far that it where they have been sleeping. They can roost there if they choose but I think and hope that when mama is done raising them, they will return to the coop.

Oh wow I'm surprised they made it back up the ramps that's great!

Your other roosts are really high, do the other birds have trouble getting down without crashing into a wall...or are there ramps there too that don't show in pics?

I had to help them up for 3 days after mama got frustrated and just went up, but luckily after that they just walk right on up them on their own!

No ramps inside the coop. There was a roost lower to the floor but they never used it so I removed it to free up space. They started sleeping on the roof trusses when they were a couple months old so I just added a roost up there. They love to sleep in the eaves when it's cool, it's like a little cubby up there.
