Yep, an hour surgery cutting out the old broken root & suturing in a permanent bone implant, Going back in 2 weeks to remove sutures. Been going to this dentist for decades. I was pretty medicated w/5 types & the only sting was a needle in the operating zone just a tiny bit. Got the royal treatment w/ Dr rolling me in their wheelchair out to my car while nurses gave DH all the followup after-surgery instruction. So far no pain but we'll see later today... not feeling as loopy as I expected... not even twighlighty.

They don't make one-man private office dentists like mine any more out here

So you aren’t feeling any more loopy than usual? That’s a good thing!

The rocks are attached to the earth...

I have a huge boulder on my property up in the mountains, surrounded by tall sequoias. It’s a beautiful huge rock, but sadly I always take it for granite!

It’s starting to rain. I asked my chooks if they would kindly make their way back to the coop. I even asked Mr Wyandottey to assist with my wishes. All I got was a bunch of growls and crowing, as if they were saying “we will come in when we are darn good and ready, and not a second sooner!!”
