Chickens sound like a much better investment to me than say a sportscar, LOL!

I totally think the import will happen. It's not that hard to do. Finding the birds from the other side of the world is the hard part and that's already been done. Paper work is a pain but there are services that do this every day. After that it's just the money.

Greenfire farm is importing the chocolate orps. Once they get here then you to can pay $400 for chickens.

And then sell your eggs for $10. Do research on the coronation sussex fad. For that much money, the parent birds had better be proven show winners with a ribbon hangng around their necks IMO. It's only a good investment if you're the only doing the importing and sell the 2nd generation for big bucks. After that it's best to wait a few years.

the choc orps are alright. They just aren't my breed.
