I love western Washington. Beautiful and green but the lack of sun does effect us... Though rain doesn't. Went hiking with the dogs yesterday in the woods... No umbrella... Lol tourists use umbrellas!!!

One year Hubby and I thought... "it is not fun to hike in the rain so let's get price-y rain gear from REI then we can hike anytime". We discovered rain gear or not, hiking in rain is not fun.

Yep--'round here, rain is as likely to be horizontal as vertical (except the last few drought years) so you can tell the newcomers and tourists fairly easily

I'm in Washington and it feels grey and cloudy always.

I've lived my whole life in WA, I remember as a kid having 60 days no sun. Live in Se WA now. Much less rain! (although now that I've said that I realize it's been raining for the last 2 days...)

the above 3 eggs were put in incubator 2 days after the other eggs that just hatched I thought only 2 were going to make it. but all 3 did. I have a group shot below. they will be in same incubator tomorrow.
