Sorry I'm no help on that. All I know is that if the humidity is too high the chicks can be really damaged in the first part of the incubation.

I like the idea of it, because right about the time of hatch, there are little floaty bacteria things in the water. And that is WITH me doing dry incubation until the last week and a half.

And yes, I do bleach it out after the hatch.

So the less time spent with water sitting in there, for me, the better.
