It is done! My modified Purina Mills coop.

That is a very cute coop! I need something similar for some Nankins...and you live where?

I'm a big fan of soft yellow colors.

Neat job and good height to set it . Are there vents along top? Another thing is that is looks like the nests are so high that the chooks would want to sleep in them instead of on roost? I like the color really well and pop door looks to be sturdy and simple. A fine backyard addition.

What a pretty color! Make sure you have good ventilation - you don't want it so airtight that there's no air circulation (check member patandchickens BYC page on ventilation - it's awesome!). Very pretty - you did a nice job!

The vents are hidden.

They are under the eaves. I bought the ones made for the floor so that I could regulate the flow. They are sturdy compared to the vents made for the exterior.

Any time I check on them when they are in the coop they are on the roosts. But I have seen evidence that they are going into the boxes occasionally. They are still young and I don't expect any eggs for atleast another 2 months.

What did you do for a roost in your coop? We built same coop and currently have a ladder roost but seems kind of crammed with the ladder roost, feeder and waterer.
