It IS February....right???

I know....maybe I have lost my mind.

I went out today, cleaned a few coops...ran some new fencing, moved chickens around, then came in...got cleaned up, and took a nap. Now, I have been knows to take long naps....but...did I sleep like Rip Van Winkle? When I went back out to make sure all the coops are closed up tight...I heard FROGS CHIRPING!! Frogs dont chirp in February...normally...so...is it STILL February??

Jeesh this crazy weather is driving me NUTSO!

I heard frogs chirping at work last night too.
It was beautiful here today and everything is trying to bud out. My hand is not hurting, so maybe..just maybe...winter is on the way out?

Hey Deb, sounds like yall are geting some Louisiana weather,lol. Warm for a few days, then freezing your tail off the next.
I had shorts on for a little while but the freaking skeeters were swarming my legs

I noticed the turtles & frogs were out today on the bayou, boy they're in for a shock on Wednesday.

I heard the little froggies here tonight, too! I was completely baffled! The weather down here has been crazy lately.

You sure ya'll don't live in MS. When I was walking the dog this afternoon I decided to take my camera and snap some images of some blooming flowers.
I broke and run to the house - skeeters chased me all the way. I had to bolt the door and almost went for the shotgun. Boy that cold snap we had last week did not phase them little buggers.

Yup, I saw a skeeter yesterday as well. Its warmer...wet...Ohhh the skeeters are going to be bad this year, I can tell already. Tomorrow we are supposed to have wicked bad T storms. Hail, high winds, and tornados.

Im glad I have a basement...but..I JUST moved the langshans out to thier temp coop! Poor babies, they are going to be scared to death! Maybe if I take another nap, I can wake up in June!??
