Love the coop! That looks fantastic, and well worth the wait, I'm sure. Noticed in the pics of the nests that you're using cedar shavings. Didn't know if you'd heard that they can be toxic; pine, aspen, straw, etc. is usually recommended instead. Sorry, not meaning to stick my nose in--just thought I'd pass it along in case you weren't aware.

I love the coop too.

I like the nests. Very creative thinking. I will have to show the pics of the kids decorating to my GD. She may want to do that on some of our pens.
Cute idea.

I have a suggestion. I may have missed it in the pics. Do you have a latch on the little door to hold it open so the wind doesn't blow it shut on a chicken or blow it shut & keep your babies locked out or in?

Again, the coop is great. You did good!!!

BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm jealous!! And I've printed a couple of the pic's so I remember to look for those stackables, the hangers for feeder & waterer!! I'll be heading to Menards tomorrow! Still have to do the inside of our coop and move it to it's place in our yard and build the run - hoping to have it done on Friday! The boys and hubby are off on Friday and the chickens are getting so big already -need them out of my garage LOL!!

VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!!! It looks like you have red cedar in the nest boxes. GET THAT OUT ASAP!!!! Cedar is toxic to chickens! Only use straw or pine shavings as bedding

Edited to add: If you have a dog you can put that out in your dog pen for bedding. Cedar is good for keeping fleas off your dog.
