I am so sorry you lost Grayson. Did the vet give you any ideas? i know you loved him very much and gave him a life I would have enjoyed too. I hope he and your little girl are up there with all those we have lost and loved. It hurts, it still does for me when I remember my special ones, but with ones passing you find another one that needs you more. My your pain be short and your memories long and full of happier times.

So so sorry to hear about Grayson and Laurent - yes it is hard but although your heart is aching you know you did the right thing for Grayson, sometimes to see them suffer is worse than ending their pain. I had to make the decision for my Kenny (she was a female but I originally thought she was a male....) she was my special needs chicken and I still am so upset about ending her life but I did the right thing for her - when we love we will have the heartache that comes in letting our babies go when the time comes - Grayson and Laurent had a great life with you - so be sad and in time your memories will be of happier times when your babies were with you and you will think of the pleasure they gave you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You did the right thing but I know right now that doesn't make it FEEL any better. It's OK to cry, he was NOT "just a chicken"!! I still morn over the loss of my RIR rocky and that was months ago...but it does get better.
