This is the week our 2008 kiddings are *supposed* to begin!

We have Helen who is actually due today, but seems she will go past her date. She lost her first kid, a little white buckling, to a mispresentation as a FF...so we're on edge with her. Then Marybelle with Annabelle following closely, both freshening for the second time.

I also have Java who is due 2/24 and has lost her mucos plug last week. She's bred to a triple registered ND buck! Very excited! This will be her 4th freshening and then we get MILK! Woo hoo!

And our wild card - Paula Dean - who was purchased bred (long story, we thought - maybe even hoped - she wasn't but now she obviously was). She lost her mucos plug yesterday and is as big as a house.

So, hopefully I'll be posting baby pics very soon! Fingers crossed!

good luck I still have one that is definatly bred and one that I am not sure if she is or not.

I don't do bottle babies, LOL! Her kid will have her to itself for the first two weeks...then we'll separate them at night, milk in the morning and let them be together all day.

Are you offering milking services, too!? LOL!

Your title reminds me of the Lion King.

I'm right there with ya, but I only have one due (next one will be in May), Jade's due any day, but I'm thinking she's going to be a sneaky one. Can't wait! Until then maybe I will get my fix from yours, so post lost of pics as the babies get here!
