Ok....its out.........and i think its deformed. Its head looks like it has a tumor. Is that the way they are supposed to look? I dont think so. OMG........why me. I wonder if it will die, or will i have a retarded chicken?

That lump you see is what it is.......its not a weird angle...elephant chick. Is this like when a baby is born and it will get normal? I have a funny feeling not.

Uh, isn't that a Silkie? I see five toes. But not black skin. And it's from a green egg?? What breed is this chick? Silkies basically have a hole in the skull anyway-you've probably heard of the vaulted skull, right?

Looks like a little Silkie to me! Ohhhh, how cute! Is the egg next to it the one it came from? Looks white, or tan?

I dont know what that means......it is like a big lump....not a hole. It was a green egg.....yes......and the guy did not have silkies. There was a red/brown ameraucana/EE and for roo's he had a banty white leghorn and i think maybe an blk australorp. So whats this vaulted head? I think its just messed up. Its very loud and clumsy and thrashing all over the place......is that normal?

Loud and thrashing is normal. It is just learning to live outside the egg. a vaulted head, is like a v shape.....like your chick has. This is always seen in Silkies.....but not usually in the breeds you mentioned. I swear....it looks like a silkie. I cant waite to see it all dried, and walking around...Just leave it in the bator, for at least 24 hrs. Should be ok. Promise to get pics in 24 hrs, when its all dry?? I wanna see!!!

I am going to try to post a newer one in a few. It seems ok.....its feet are still curled up, is that normal? Are 5 toes not normal for ameraucana? This egg was very dark green. The other one still is not doing anything.
