Calcium deposits is what I call a deformity...It's calcium deposits, and people please don't say what it is unless you know what it is. To tell someone it's a deformity or insect eggs when you don't know- that is just stupid.
Not a deformity, nor is it typically indicative of an underlying problem. It’s simply a little blip on the reproductive conveyor belt. Usually it’s due to a little too much calcium in the hen’s system, so the extra was deposited in a weird way. It’s not anymore weird than a oblong egg or a double yolker.
