It looks like it hurt to pass this egg

It's calcium deposits, and people please don't say what it is unless you know what it is. To tell someone it's a deformity or insect eggs when you don't know- that is just stupid.
 
Calcium deposits is what I call a deformity...
Not a deformity, nor is it typically indicative of an underlying problem. It’s simply a little blip on the reproductive conveyor belt. Usually it’s due to a little too much calcium in the hen’s system, so the extra was deposited in a weird way. It’s not anymore weird than a oblong egg or a double yolker. To say deformity is implying there could be something wrong with the hen, and that is highly unlikely.

Whenever my hen lays an egg thats mishaped or has any problem with it I just call it a deformed egg I never new there was a spesific name for it but, now I do.
