It took us a good 15-20 minutes and 4-5 people to get them into the new coop. Last night was a LITTLE easier but we still had to chase a few of them in. Just the 9 from last year are in there, I dont think my little ones would survive "cooped up" with the big girls (and a roo) just yet. Once they are a little more finished on the inside I will be putting up a chicken wire partition to keep the little ones safe from the big ones. These ladies are SPOILED... They free range, so the coop is only for egg laying/night time, etc. Once it is all done, I will work on constructing a nice run for them....
EXACTLY.... Their theory is "will work for food, and cold drinks". We can handle that!!! My FIL is the mastermind, and my hubby just follows his orders.
