The door being glass and not seeing anything I turned to go back to the living room.

Then there it was again knock, knock, knock in a desperate kind of rushed noise. I thought well it is the neighboors children, who often like to play jokes on me and come over for ice cream. So I thought to myself: hmmmmm. I will swing the door open and scream boo! So I did.

That is when it hit me...ok they hit me...all five of my older girls came rushing in and smacking me in the head. After I came back through I found them in the kitchen eating my bowl of rice. Just waiting for me to join them.

I would had never thought this possible but it was so funny I just thought I have to share!

They are funny little things aren't they? My sister had the same thing happen, only she doesn't have chickens! She heard a knock at the door one rainy night, answered it, and a hen walked into her house!

This morning I was throwing a ball for the dog and the chickens started chasing it. The poor dog didn't know what to do...

That is so funny. Did you by chance ever have their brooder in the kitchen?

Chickens knocking on doors, chickens chasing the dog ball - I love hearing stories like this.

My new EE roo figured out the cat door in about 2 days!

My DH HATES him! He'll run through the house crying for me. I think DH is jealous!

Awww...That is too funny! I wish our's would do that. But they don't come to the back door because all the rambuncious dogs live in their. They always get run down if there is not enough space for them to get out of the way

Our dogs don't eat the chickens. They just run them over because they don't even notice them. The same thing happens to my toy poodle, she always has to hide under the chairs to avoid getting smushed
