We got 4 hens from the tractor supply 2 months ago. One of them is supposed to be a Smokey Pearl, but nothing looks like that, and we think it is not a hen either! I am quite upset thet they picked the wrong one for us and now they claims they don't know anything about chicks. They put two different breeds with unsexed and female chicks altogether in one tub at the store! Please share your opinion. It's a boy? (6 weeks old)

If you bought this bird months ago, it is completely reasonable for anyone to not be able to tell you anything about on one bird out of literal hundreds they received. There's dozens of new "designer breeds" (aka highly marketable mutts) every year, and most look almost exactly the same at a week old, so that complicates things more.
It happens. If you're set on having a specific bird, order it and have it shipped through the mail to you, it's a much better process.

The employee said she was sure that was a female Smokey Pearl. They labeled female Smokey Pearls and unsexed another breed next to each other and put all the chicks in one tub. If they had been just honest and told me they can't really tell, I would have left the store without buying any chicks. It's dishonest and misleading business practice. That's what I am upset about. I will never go back to tractor supply again. I am not very picky about breeds, but our HOA doesn't allow roosters.

Mixing breeds and genders sounds like a very common problem at Tractor Supply.

You've got yourself an Easter Egger. I suspect male because I believe I see some copper coloring on the wings but EEs are tricky to sex.
Thank you! I suspected it's an Easter egger too after I did my own research. Yes, it is showing copper color already. The kids already named it and we are attached to it. So no way we are getting rid of it even if it's a boy!

I would advise against a collar. Put simply, it's cruel. If you're not allowed to have roosters, it'd be better to rehome or cull him
