Its a Joyful Noise

My roosters make me smile. I love their different voices for certain things like the I've got a treat "tuck-tuck-tuck" or I see something in the sky, sometimes they make a growling noise too that is funny.

I was trying to come up with an ultimate fair treatment for problem teenroos. I came up with "dinner and a show", meaning photograph them really well, then have them for supper and keep a wall of great rooster art in the dining room. DH says "taxidermy". Either way, some roosters are meant for dinner. They're just so dang purty, its a shame to see them go.

That's just another concept that takes humanity to recall the civility in. A TeenRoo who's had a great little life, growing out his plumage and strutting his stuff, and singing in the rain, then quietly, humanely becoming meat before he wakes up the next morning. That seems a fair life, to me. Why do people have a problem with that, really?

My moms elderly neighbor man crows to our rooster every time he takes a walk by, our good old rooster usually crows back for him.
