Its a NEST box not a NAP box!

I have seven nest boxes for my chickens, and often when I open the nest box lids the chicken in there is sleeping. Why is that?

I have a chicken that hides in one, she seems very happy to stay in there on top of golf balls. If they aren't laying eggs I've heard others here say to block it off.
