It's a sickness got more chicks!

Chicken addiction is REAL. I have a small bantam flock of five hens at the moment, all of whom will surely go broody in the spring, yet I still HAD to order eggs from ebay and hatch them in my incubator in the middle of winter, didn't I. :)

Haha! I just had to have a incubator to see how the chicks would look. I have a Easter egger rooster in with my Orpington, black stars, isa brown hen and my little phenoix. I have a leg horn but she doesn't like the rooster so not even wasting my time on her eggs they can just be breakfast.
 
LOL, I start with 12 a year and a half ago. I lost five of my original hens to various things. Well, chicken math clicked in! I now have five coops with 79 hens and 7 roosters. My Light Sussex like to be mothers! Each and every one is special. My BF is not pleased!!!!! Takes a lot of my time. But so soothing to sit with the girls!
