Xylo said "Good morning. I am going to hunt for breakfast. Feel free to join me if you want."
"Okay. I think I am just going to stay here." Lillia told him. She then looked at her mother's mirror, "And I need to work some more. I'm not really going to take any breaks, until everything is situated."

Lillia got out of bed and got ready for the day. But instead of leaving the room, she sat in front of the mirror to observe the humans some more. They were still behaving the same, so that was probably good news.

The sun had risen, and Acan made ready for another day in the gardens. He prepared his breakfast of herbal tea and porridge, then started watering all the plants while it was cool.

Rayko took one final look down the mountain path, before leaving the old oak. He fluttered to the ground in a cleaning in the woods. He decided he was going to walk back to the castle this morning. The sun was bright this morning, invigorated him. Just as the natural birds were singing their courtships and praises for the day.

Acan finished up watering everything that needed it, then prepared the nosegays for the Queen and princess, carefully tying each bundle with a silken ribbon.

Acan made his way up to the Queen's quarters, quietly knocking on her chamber doors. He had included a few unusual varieties in this morning's bouquet. He nervously anticipated the Queen's surprised reaction to the flowers.

Lillia heard the knocking and got up, looking away from the mirror.
She opened her door and smiled when she saw Acan.
"Good morning!" She said, and then noticed the flowers. "Oh my, these are beautiful. I love them, you are a very skilled gardener." Lillia told Acan politely.

Acan beamed with pride, his eyes shining under his shaggy brown mop of hair. He managed to look at the Queen's hands, and, mumbling thank you, lumbered on to the princess's room.
