When princess Jade didn't answer her door, Acan slumped over a little in disappointment. Setting her flowers on the side table next to her chamber door, he lumbered back to the garden shed to prepare for the day's work.

Achilles patrolled the castle like he usually did every morning. Though once there was obviously no sign of any sort of threat, he went inside to get a drink.
Shifting into his large American Eagle form, he went over to one of the many bird baths that were neatly placed here and there and drank from one of the ones that had just been replaced.

As Acan worked hard in rescuing the perennials that he could and pulling out all the plants that had died, he noticed a soldier on the wall being chastised by an official looking man barking about something he couldn't quite make out, gesturing at the wall where the humans had scaled it. The soldier was hanging his head and looking rather guilty.
Acan was grateful that the sheer size and power of his terror bird self could be of service to the castle.
