Emily soared over the woods, picking a particularly tall tree near a clearing where she could scope out any prey. She waited for something delicious to pass by.

A rabbit passes by, unaware, moving into the clearing and nibbling on the clover growing in clumps there. Emily dives down pouncing and carrying it away to a perch where she can enjoy her snack in peace.
 
"I managed to get some rest before the nightmare....or in my case the daymare. I went out to fly a patrol and that's when I found the sniper. But I'll do as you suggest. Thank you for caring about me. It means a lot, lady Martha. " He replied quietly. He the remembered and fished out the small handful of grain he'd procured for her chickens. He tossed some on the ground and held the rest in his open palm. He chuckled softly as some grabbed the folds of flesh of his palm. "You can't eat me, you silly girls." He replied softly to them.

When the grain was finished, Rayko dusted of his hands and dipped his head to Martha and said, "Good day, Lady Martha. Stay ever vigilant and stay safe." He then turned to leave. Heading to get him something to eat before resuming his rest.
 
Reptar nodded having reached a accord. He happily walked with Lyra down the corridor to go to the throne room. "You have always been a steadfast negotiator. For you never gave me quarter." He said with respect.
"That is why the queen sent me to talk to and see what other kingdoms or vestiges of kingdoms remain" Lyra said then went quiet. It was sad to see what was left of once great kingdoms now lost to the humans.
