Laurielle picked up the bowl and noticed that Sebastian suddenly looked very tired.
"If you are tired then don't hesitate to sleep. Rest is essential for recuperation, after all."

Sebastian smiled sheepishly, but nodded as he laid back and closed his eyes. "That seems all I'm good for right now." He said sleepily.

"Well, maybe that's true, but you just passed out, lost blood, and had a festering wound along with a fever, so don't be too hard on yourself." Laurielle told him sternly. She then left the room and closed door to the hospital wing to go return the bowl to the kitchens.

It wasn't long until Sebastian was sound asleep.

Rayko perched upon the ramparts of the castle and watched the inner courtyard where the tunnel was hidden by the shed and hay.

Laurielle returned the bowl to the kitchens and went back to the hospital wing, opening and closing the door very quietly so she didn't wake up the sleeping patient.

She swept the floor and started changing the sheets on the other beds.

Aiveron hugged Lyra and said, "Oh, think nothing of it. I miss our childhood sleepovers. Are you okay? You look pretty shook up." He asked concerned.

Reptar sighed and stated, "That castle is in an uproar and you are blissfully reading a book by the fire. Lyra was attacked by humans in her room. She and Sino fought and killed them, fortunately. But still, the fact they got inside the castle is alarming."

Aiveron looked to Lyra with absolute horror. "Oh, thank goodness you're alright!" He said as he hugged Lyra close again.

Lyra returned the hug, glad to have her friends close to her once again. "Reptar said I could stay and sleep here with you both so that I wouldn't be alone for the rest of the night." She said quietly. "I don't think I could stay in my room tonight"

Finally satisfied with sharpening his shovel, Acan crawled up into the loft where his straw mattress sat, and decided to sleep in his terror bird form so he would better be able to defend himself from sleep should the need arise. Even though he was very tired and it was really late, sleep didn't come easy. Finally, he fell asleep fitfully, lightly, on edge, but still asleep, until morning.

Lillia eventually decided that it would be best to get some rest, and went up to her bedroom. Though as she laid in bed she couldn't manage to fall asleep, what with all of her concerns. But she didn't get up, and continued to try and sleep.

Lyra returned the hug, glad to have her friends close to her once again. "Reptar said I could stay and sleep here with you both so that I wouldn't be alone for the rest of the night." She said quietly. "I don't think I could stay in my room tonight" 

"Just as we wouldn't want you to. I don't think even I could sleep alone after what you've endured. Come, you must be exhausted from your travels and ordeal." Aiveron took her hand and led her over to one of the two beds. He pulled back the covers for her and waited for Lyra to climb in.

Reptar shifted to his condor form and flew to the foot of the bed. Waiting for Lyra to get settled.
