Hello from wintery Western NC. This will be my first time ever raising chickens. Growing up my Daddy was a duck fanatic. I'll have a small flock of 10 girls to start. Hoping I can get as much info from questions that are posted and learn from mistakes we all, I'm sure, have or will make. Sending everyone warm thoughts and prayers. Laura.

There are a ton of articles about raising chicks/poultry and coops you'll find under the link @N F C provided above. One example there is a great article about raising chicks for their first six weeks. Other articles you'll find under the Articles tab. There's an index on the left, so you can search for the ones you want to.

If you don't have a coop, you'll find a coop forum there too with tons of ideas!
