Its been 26 days, and they have not hatched?

I picked up some eggs from a friend for my broody hen to hatch. She has been very dilgent and hardly gotten off. It has been 26 days and they still have not hatched. candeled them on day 23 and say movement from one for sure. How will I know if they are going to hatch or not? The weather is in the 60s and 70s and a little colder at night, would that make a difference? My hen gets off twice a day for about 5-7 min. Thanks for the help.

If you're dealing with chicken eggs, this incubation has gone as long as it can. and the eggs should be removed.

But sometimes the hen will continue to sit on eggs, because she is "broody", not that the eggs are viable.

Your weather was fine and the broody getting off for just a few minutes would have been fine as well.
