They have food, water, shelter, and a nice warm spot. This chicken hutch is about 2 feet off the ground... They started eatting right away... Anything Im missing?

You may want to get a small size waterer. Could see your waterer..... The babies often get wet in the large size ones as they stand in it and sit in it.

I cannot tell from the set up but do they have a way to get away from the heat if they need to.

Looks nice and clean. We use wire on the bottom of the brooder but I know lots of folks use the chips.

Enjoy your little blessings!

The waterer is a small chicken feeder... only there heads fit inside... Ill try to get a picture tomorrow... They should move between hot and cold to find the temp the want right??? or Do I have to move them?

Ok... here is the math..

the dad is 50 % amerucana and 50% fighting rooster....
the mom is 100 % black fighting chicken...

I cant belive it did not dawn on me to take pictures of the mom and dad..

so that would make the chicks...

75% figting and 25% amerucana

Yes, they will move between hot and cold and Congrats....very pretty birds!
.................

Have a blessed evening.
