It's day 17 and I've seen 2 of my eggs wobble...is this early? Should I be concerned?

I don't trust my incubator as it is. I set my eggs today (stopped turning them) and it's day 17.
As I positioned them, 2 of them started wobbling from side to side (little wobbles but lots of them).

How long after wobbling do they hatch? Does this mean it will hatch soon and should I expect the worst?

Any replies or thoughts would be very much appreciated.x

If they are bantam eggs then this is normal mine started to wobble at day 17 as well, just make sure your not turning them anymore and up the humidity a bit mine hatched on day 19-21 :)

No none of them are bantams, it was one of the largest eggs in there. Maybe they'd already positioned themselves and me moving them into position wasn't how they wanted it...I hope it was just a little practice and they stay in there until it's the right time!

I have had eggs both big and small sometimes hatch as early as day 19 or as late as day 31. It depends on fluctuations in temperature. I wouldn't worry to much about it, moving there position wont hurt them :)

Good luck, sounds like you should have some chicks soon. Don't worry if it takes up to or more than 12 hours for them to hatch from the first pip until they get out. Some hatch fast and some take a bit longer.
