Its day 29 and I havent seen any ducklings:(

Ducklings they are here! Dont know how many yet, but I saw at least 2 under her so far...They are still hatching, I cant tell how many are under her...Hopefully I will get some pictures up tomorrow

I'm so happy for you! Told ya if she was standin over them it would be soon! Saw this with every hen that ever hatched any. We will be waiting for theose pictures.

I just went out to take pictures but didnt get too. There are 3 babies fuzzy as can be crawling around momma. When I got close to take a picture she stood up and hissed, I saw a bunch more hatching as we speak under her....So i will wait until they have all hatched before I start taking pictures...All 3 look so different from one another, I think I have a bunch of cross breed ducks...All my ducks mate each other, I have mallard, rouen, and pekins. Even though my mallard hatched them, I do believe she was on a mixture of eggs from herself and the other females...But they are so cute!

I'm a newbie and have a pair of Rouen Ducks. The female has been sitting on eggs for three weeks so I have a ways to go I know. My question is will it be okay to leave her mate with her after the eggs hatch or do I have to worry about his hurting the babies? Also feeding ducklings? I was going to use unmedicated Start and Grow but what about Mom- should I continue to give her the regular adult crumbles? What should I be feeding ducklings and Mom?? Thanks for the help!
