It's Friday, the 13th... and setting eggs

Congratulations thyme!!! Can't wait for pictures :)

Nothing going on here not even a wobble or a wiggle. All the threads about bantams hatching a little early is making it sooo hard to sit on my hands.

Just so you know, I hatched out my first bantams 3 weeks ago and they DID NOT hatch earlier than regular sized chickens. The wait was interminable because I thought they would hatch early too.

i've lock downed also... No peeps yet... im so impatient...lol..... I hope for a sign... i seen some wiggles inside eggs at lockdown so fingers crossed.... Congrats on the ones already pippin..

No peeping or pips yet. A number of my eggs are wiggling, but nothing exciting yet. I've got to stop going in to check every 15 minutes...lol

I'm doing my first hatch and just like you, I find myself going in to watch them ALL the time. They're wiggling but nothing else.

How long do they normally wiggle before they start to pip?

I have a baby. Just one though and no pips or anything on the rest so excited Can't wait to see the rest.

I've got some wiggles and a pip.

I really thought I over cooked these eggs...... phew! Man, my neck and elbows are killing me though. My Grandma always told me that a watched pot never boils. I guess the same goes for watching these eggs, lol. Guess I need to step away from the bator. (yeah right!) hehehe.Good luck to everyone.

Lol, you might as well pull up a chair! Once they start to pip, you are done for

It's chick TV from there on out, I'm telling ya!! Mine are due to start Friday nite, and I have to work 12 hr shifts Fri, Sat and Sunday....which means I'm actually gone for about 15 hrs each day. It's gonna kill me

LOL I need help...I got up to get my kids ready for school and I got excited for a second b/c I heard peeps....then I realized it was coming from the birds outside....

STILL nothing! I'm wishing I would've put the bator on a table or something instead of the floor.

Good reminder about the watched pot-the same can def. be said about eggs. I can only imagine how a poor hen feels while she's waiting. This is like being pregnant all over again.
