1st to hatch last night a silver laced brahma, 3 all together hatched this morning and a couple more pipping. Heres a couple pic of my 1st baby. Zippin and rippin

aoxa-STILL not a thing. At least the one egg I thought was a goner yesterday was wiggling again this morning. So there is SOME good news.

This is way too nerve wracking. LOL Love it though.

We are up to four that have pip holes now.. One has foam coming out of it's pip hole? What could that be caused by?! My humidity is at 63% - and the chick seems really wet! I used the dry incubation method. The humidity never hit over 44%. I would let the water run out before adding more, so what could cause this? Kind of worried..

Ok, I think I might be losing my mind, but I was just checking on the eggs (again) and I could've sworn I heard a chirp. Then as I'm sitting there looking at them, I keep hearing a strange noise coming from the bator; almost like a weird scratching type sound or like the wire mesh is making a noise. I've never heard it before.

Maybe I need to be committed.

We heard our first chirp last night when my fiance dropped something near the bator. Definite chirping lol. there weren't even any pips at that time! You are getting close!

Ok, I know I heard the peeps!!! SO exciting!! I had my ear to the bator and sure enough, I hear three little chirps. I was starting to think it was the evil wild birds outside toying with me. LOLOL

The one egg I think it's coming from is really wiggling with more force, so to speak. So exciting!!!

BBk did you use and egg carton or jus lay them down in incubator to hatch...

I used coffee filters this time around... no difference that i can see.

don't cha know, you're supposed to be chirping in the little hole, so they think there's more chickies outside to play with.... LOL I always chirp to the eggs when it gets close, the eggs start moving nd i hear lots of noise... so cool...'Melinda
