It's getting harder, not easier...

Hey this is OT but,
Your kids are the same ages as mine!
My oldest is a boy and he's 8, my middle is a girl and she's 6, and my little one is a girl and she'll be 3 in Nov.!

You're kids aren't looking for penpals are they?! Be great to link up with another home-shooling fam.

Sure! My 8 yo boy would especially like that. My 6 yo girl is just learning to write well, but would love to too, I would think. And the three year old...well...I am sure you can imagine, since you have one too, lol. My youngest is a boy...and boy oh boy is he ever busy!!

but yeah, pm me and we'll exchange info so the kids can get in touch.

Mrsengeseth;
I'll PM you now. My 6 year old isn't writing much either, they could exchange drawings or something instead.
Even my 8 year old's handwriting isn't great, but I think having a penpal might give him some more motivation to work on it

PP, I'm checking it now

What a nice idea. Pen pals are a great way for kids to improve writing skills, in a fun way, as well as learning social and communication skills, and maybe even gain a friend for life. Homeschooling's all about giving kids fun and interesting ways to learn, this could be a wonderful thing for all of them.

My kids are no longer homeschooled, but they're not traditionally schooled either. I've got a newly literate 7 yo boy who could use a pen pal, too!

Hi Jenna, I talked to PC, and he's not sure we can do it. It would over a 2 hour ride for him, about 45 minutes-hour for us. Is there anyway you could get down here within the next week or 2? We're planning to have the processing party at our house, so it would be closer.
