It is a sassy bob cat boy, if i didn't know better i would have thought it was a lynx but we do not have those here and never have, that was taken at my neighbors place he roams these woods.

My birds have taken care of all the bugs they can reach, no ticks in the pastures but if you get off in the high grasses they are there cause my guineas and other birds do not forage in such areas, to easy to get ambushed by a wild thang

Zaz that bobcat is HUGE! Good thing you have dogs! My dad is a Native American and he has been in the woods all of his life and of all the bobcats he has seen, he has never seen a bobcat that huge, even in Texas. Both of us really enjoyed the photo. What a pretty cat!

Great info on Muscovy ducks eating mosquito larva. I certainly hate mosquitos. I wear some pretty good bug spray but I just hate wearing it and I feel like it is bad to wear it too. When you are wearing it, if you touch something like say a T-shirt with a color imprint on it, the color will come off onto your arms because of the powerful bug spray. That always worries me about how unhealthy the bug spray might be.

Lost a few ducks back in 2010 that is it, added a couple Dogs and problem solved no losses to any ground preditors at all, not for the lack of trying just when they come beboppen over those ridges something is gonna see them and sound the alarm and bam dogs on the run critter gone.

I despise bug spray also, i grow citronella plants and rosemary but i have all but used them up and i have 10 of them, so i have no choice but use it if i have to water my potted trees and plants cause they will eat me alive plus they are known to carry west nile and now chickengunya according to the new it is one town over already

I know that bug spray is bad for ya it makes me smell funny when i sweat and that is from absorbing it into my system.

Probably. I'm not all together happy about the cold weather. I've got 8 week old keets in the brooder in the house , and 10 eggs in the bator. It's the last of my eggs, I hope!;
