It's finally above zero today!!! this past week my town was the coldest spot in the US....yuck. My peas, chickens and mandarin ducks are doing good, but I brought my call ducks inside the house because they just didn't look well. -30 with wind chill of -50 at night and -20 during the day just isn't nice when it's for 4 days. It's like a heat wave today with it being 5 above! It usually never this cold for this long. Spring can't come fast enough!

Thank you. I believe this would be easy for me to do. First I need an electrician to come out though. The wiring to our barn as always been crappy but it's totally not working now. I think we'll need to be rewired. So no heat right now. Way too far away from the house to run an extension chord. It sucks as watering the poultry has become a huge ordeal now. lol

We may get above 30 today but the weekend is maybe going to get up to 42 on Saturday but with rain. Frozen ground with rain makes things a mess and can cause flooding. But the 50 degree difference in temps is worth it

Hey, believe it or not it will be 60• here tomorrow! It is 40• here now. I let my guinias out for the 1st time in 2 weeks. They came out of the house and pen flying. I think they were happy! The peacocks would not come out instead the 2 males strutted forth females!
