Hey, you left out the part about them destroying the yard and digging holes in whatever grass you manage to get to grow...

If we had a yard...

this is a new homestead, our priorities are on building sheds, coops, and bird pens. But you are right about the digging, if we had a garden we would have been PO-ed at the person that said guineas won't hurt your garden.

I'm going to have to fence the garden like we do our birds just to keep them out. Our birds aren't well behaved like Zaz's are.

I must have a weird bunch of guinas. They eat bugs. The only place they dig holes is where the armadillos have hit first. They do make racket. They let me know when someone comes up. Mine haven't hurt my garden. They go up and down the rows eating bugs. I have a lot more trouble with the armadillos than I do with guinas!

You believe it was 80• this afternoon and it will be 25• tonight! The wind is about 50 mph! My birds are in their coup tonight. Usually they roost in their pen, not tonight!

It's 13 out and we got a light dusting of snow last night... Didn't get enough to mess up the roads like most of the state got the other day though so I won't complain. Some folks at work said we're supposed to get a lot of snow this winter. Don't know how they know that, weatherman can't even predict what we're going to get next week.
