seriously, though, that coop is about as pieced together as it gets! Although I am proud of it, since it's the only thing I've ever built from my own design that actually looks somewhat square and hasn't fallen apart! It's watertight and predator-proof (knock on wood) and was built with about $200......THAT makes me proud.....Ugly? Yes. A work of art? LOL, twisted art, but yes!

we bought a piece here and there, and when the pile was big enough I started building. I wish I could have had some help, but it was like pulling teeth! He did do a little, gotta give him credit for that....There was only so much we could afford, and that piece of yard trash is what I came up with LOL! He did agree to paint it, though....

Oh honey wait til you see ours!!! It's held together with screws and nails and no foundation to speak of but dirt. We shall see what hAPPENS with the first snow or rain....
