Im SUPER EXCITED

because my chick hatched

. Origanally we had this clutch (see pic below) under a broody hen but she went bonkers

and came out of her broody state too soon and started killing the chicks

she scooted one into her water dish, broke 2

and the other 2 that were fertilized we saved and put in out incubator but 1 was already dead in the egg and the second picture is our 1 and only chick that survived

our brave baby first hatching out

and 1 day old

so tired
