I see some coops and think it is amazingly intricate.. and mostly unnecessary.. I mean think where or how they would live in the wild... They wouldn't be renting, ha ha. My husband had ours up in a couple days... a neighbor took down a shed and we took the wood.. It is an ugly little chicken shack, but I don't think the birds mind at all. He used two used dresser drawers for nesting boxes.. 10 in off the ground.. and a long 8 foot Willow branch as a perch. The only serious thing we have to do is put some roofing on it so it won't leak during the rainy season..

I think I will post a picture soon.. lol..

No envy.. our coop is MORE than perfect for the chickens.
