My six feather-babies have finally moved out of the garage!!! They are four weeks old and are so ready. We've been working on their coop forever!! It's made out of 98% re-purposed materials, saving us a ton of money. It's done in a shabby style, painted brightly with three "stories" inside the coop. The run is 13' long, not counting underneath the coop, and totally enclosed.
So far, the girls haven't chosen to leave the coop yet. Once in a while we can lure them down to the grass where we put their food. They are very nervous going down the ladder, and even more nervous walking in the grass. I'm sure they'll eventually get used to it.
