It's NOG time

I just wanted to remind the egg nog lovers out there that it's "that time" of year! The grocery stores here are stocking egg nog in the milk cases.

I prefer to make my own, but sometimes I like to be lazy and buy it (besides, it does taste different).

egg nog is one of those things that people either love or hate...I've met very few people in my life who can 'take it or leave it'.

Oh my - nope, I've never had that!! I do make egg nog pie every year (closer to Christmas usually) but egg nog ice cream ON the pie? Now that would be something! GREAT idea!

I have a "go to" recipe for egg nog that is awesome -but I've never tried to make ice cream with it.
