I finally found a picture of mine that I hadn't even uploaded to photobucket that shows the CDs pretty well.

Well our old coop was torn apart by me so we can build a new one. I have to re-put the fencing up and finish building the coop in spring. I am definatly going to try this plan. Maybe I can find something that will make the cd's match the coop

i dont even have grass in my run cause the chicken pick all the new groth and everything

mine have never stayed in the run long enough to clean it up. Hopefully, they will now. We are planning on unrolling a large bale of hay about January in there for them to pick through the rest of the winter.
