My roo suffers from short term memory loss

Last week he attacked me and my dobe immediately replied in kind and put him on his back. Lasted one week he did it again today only this time she was far more intense in her attack! Still no damage lots, of thunder and lightening tho she is a very special dog!

I wouldn't tolerate a mean rooster.....alert and protective is one thing, but mean is not acceptable. A rooster attacked a friend's 2 year-old daughter one time and had her down on the ground in just a few seconds. He spurred her in the face and left a puncture less than an inch under her right eye. Their family dog came to her rescue, thankfully, else she probably would have been blinded. They seem to always try for the eyes when they attack.

Having been flogged by a huge rooster at a young age doesn't help my attitude either.
