It's really not altruism

    Sometimes I think I'll do something nice and take a treat, such as some bread, out for my chickens.
    Actually it's for my personal benefit. I get a kick out of the way my big bbs Orpingtons come racing one another, running, flapping their wings, to get anything that I have for them before the others get what I have. Is that bad?

    ETA: I really love it when I step outside the back door and all 49 chickens run on the porch to see what I have for them!! Makes my hubby so mad cause they poop everywhere's but it's so cute!!
